Social Development

The Social Development program offers tax filing and temporary financial assistance to low-income individuals and families on-reserve.

Individuals must complete an intake assessment and are deemed eligible or ineligible once the assessment is complete. Should an individual(s) be eligible for income assistance they are required to provide the following: 

  • Valid photo identification
  • Valid bank statements or current year of notice of assessment and a 
  • Residency letter from the on-reserve home owner. 
  • Applicant(s) with children will also be asked to proved the current years school registration form for each child. 

Once all required documentation is provided an intake appointment will be made.
